How best can you demonstrate your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with green energy that is in short supply?
With increased environmental awareness, many organizations now wish to purchase "green" energy to demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility. However, the target for renewable energy production in the UK (2006/07) is only 6.7% of the total generated supply, so there certainly isn't enough to go round. Rather than buy green for the sake of CSR, why not actually reduce your energy wastage first and then develop a sensible policy for green energy purchasing?
